Beyond the Basics.

Open Practice Time.
Practice is a key to developing skill and style in your dance routine. On Thursday afternoons we provide the large open ballroom dance floor and music you need for effective practice.
Monthly Dance Party.
Dance is a social activity! Once a month we have a party at a dance studio. Beginning with a featured lesson, its time to have fun and show off what you have learned. See the monthly calendar for dates and location.
Formal Dances.
Want a little elegance? February’s Lady in Red Dance (think Valentine’s Day) and December’s Black Tie Ball are our elegant events with formal dinner and dancing the night away.
Workshops.
Skill-based workshops or skill-set intensive sessions are perfect for working on specific moves, and allow for polishing of the move beyond the scope of usual classroom practice. Typically, a single afternoon, our workshops may focus on variations of a single movement (such as shadow position) or often overlooked aspects of dance such as musicality.
Youth Program Partnerships.
Southwest Florida USA Dance partners with the North Fort Myers Academy of the arts to offer ballroom dance instruction to youth dancers.
